Charlotte (Parklands, Wedding and Events Manager) & Dan

Charlotte and Dan certainly made a gorgeous couple and for the time of year, they had a glorious day.

It was all hands on deck for Charlotte’s wedding, with guest from both Parklands and Fennes, she managed to have all of us decorating and then celebrating with her.

After running hundreds of weddings over the years, we knew this one was going to be unique and organised to perfection. From the table stands and wedding cake hand made by family members to the perfect sash with ivy and gyp. And everyone attending the wedding got a personalised vintage tea cup as a favour, a sweet take away for all.

Charlotte being a lover of cakes and high-tea we were not surprised that, that was on the menu, there was plenty of food and speciality tea going around all day, ending with pizza and dancing, see if you recognise any of the “dancers” in the photos below. They also hired a brilliant band for the evening who were brilliant at getting the party started.

The day was elegant yet quirky and full of love and laughter, just like the couple!

Parklands:

Canapés: Creamy Dolcelatte and Fig Tartlet (V), Mediterranean Marinated Halloumi Bro- chettes (V), Mini Yorkshire Puddings with Beef and Horseradish, Quails Eggs, Seared Tuna. Starters: Brie and Red Onion Purse
Main and Dessert: Afternoon Tea: Cute miniature sandwiches with a selection of filling served on white and brown bread. Fillings to included: Tuna Mayo, Cheese and Chutney, Egg and Cress, Ham and Mustard, Turkey and Cranberry, Beef and Horseradish, Children’s Sandwich Fillings: Cheese, Ham or Jam, Vegetarian quiche and Scotch Eggs and Vegetarian Scotch Eggs to be served, Cocktail sausage rolls and vegetarian/vegan sausage rolls & Cheese scones
Dessert: A Selection of Mini Cakes: Fruit Cake, Walnut Cake, Chocolate Cake, Lemon Cake, Carrot Cake, Scones, Cream & Strawberry Jam – Plain, Macaroons and Mini Pavlova and a se- lection of Tea and coffee
Wine served: Tuffon Hall – Amelia
Evening Buffet: Pizza Bar: Fresh from the oven, a selection of tasty hand-crafted Pizzas, served with chips, homemade coleslaw and fresh rocket. Accompanied by a selection of sauces, aromatic oils and freshly ground black pepper. Vegetarian – Fresh tomato sauce, topped with Mozzarella, oregano, sliced peppers, sweetcorn and onions
Pepperoni – Fresh tomato sauce, topped with Mozzarella, cheddar and pepperoni
Cheese Feast – Fresh tomato sauce, topped with cheeses to include Gorgonzola, cheddar and Mozzarella
Anchovy – Fresh tomato sauce topped with cheese, anchovies, olives and capers
Extras: Bridal and Groom Refreshment, Sweet Cart, Love Letters, LED Poseur Tables Post box (borrowed from Fennes)
Chair Sashes: Ivory sash for ceremony and with Dusky Rose sashes for wedding breakfast
